Winksi is a micro-location social network provided by HEKOM DOOEL for adults aged 18 and over. It is not a dating application.
By accessing or using Winksi, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
We may require you to update to a supported version of the app to keep using the service. Unsupported versions may be blocked or limited.
You must be 18 or older to use Winksi. An eligible date of birth is required to complete your profile and access the service.
Date of birth is self-declared. Where supported and available, Winksi uses Apple or Google age-range signals as an additional check, but these signals are not available for all users. Winksi does not otherwise verify a user's age or identity and cannot guarantee that every user has reported their age accurately.
You must provide accurate age information. Providing a false date of birth violates these Terms. Accounts found to belong to someone under 18 will be blocked and may be terminated.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Each account is for one person. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
Ownership: You keep ownership of the content you upload to Winksi, such as your profile photos and bio.
License to Winksi: You grant HEKOM DOOEL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, create resized or reformatted versions of, and display your content within the app, and to process it for safety and moderation, solely to operate the Winksi service. We may sublicense these rights only to service providers that help us operate Winksi.
This license ends when you delete your account. Copies may persist where the law requires, as part of a submitted moderation report, or for the limited periods described in our Privacy Policy.
Visibility: Winksi does not host a public feed. Profiles and content are not publicly available, not viewable by non-users, and not indexed by search engines. You are responsible for the content you share.
Other users may see your display name, profile photo thumbnail, and pin time in venue lists. When they open your profile, they may also see your numeric age, short bio, and profile photos. Your date of birth is not shown.
Our Privacy Policy describes these rules in more detail.
Connections: A connection forms only when two users wink at each other. Private messaging is available only between connected users.
No end-to-end encryption: Private messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
Storage: Undelivered messages may be stored temporarily on our servers. Delivered messages are stored on the recipient's device and are normally removed by the app after about 30 days.
Reports: When you report a conversation, a copy of recent messages from your device is stored as moderation evidence. Where technically possible, Winksi may also request a copy of the same conversation from the reported user's app, without notifying them that a report was made. Report evidence is used only for safety, moderation, and legal compliance, and does not by itself decide account sanctions. Our Privacy Policy explains how long this evidence is kept.
Notifications: Notification data, such as recipient ID, timestamp, and message length, is processed to deliver push notifications. FCM tokens are used only for push notifications.
Winksi uses your device's precise location while you use its location features to find nearby venues and manage pins. Winksi does not collect location in the background.
Unverified location: Pins are based on location data reported by devices. Winksi does not verify that anyone is physically present at a venue. Users may appear at a venue without being there, including through inaccurate, mock, or falsified location data. Do not rely on a pin as proof of another user's location. Winksi is not responsible for inaccurate or falsified location information submitted by users.
Winksi displays ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect data such as IP address, device and advertising identifiers, and ad interactions. Winksi does not intentionally include your account identifier, email address, date of birth, profile content, messages, or precise GPS coordinates in AdMob ad requests. Our Privacy Policy describes ad processing and your choices.
You must not:
Blocking: You may block up to 200 accounts at a time. If you reach the limit, you must unblock an account before blocking another. Blocking prevents profile viewing, winks, connections, and private messages between the two accounts, and ends an existing connection. It does not by itself remove either account from live venue lists or venue history.
Users must not upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Winksi infringes your copyright, contact winksi.app@gmail.com. We may remove infringing content and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Winksi does not conduct background checks, verify user identities, or verify physical presence at any location. You are responsible for your own safety and judgment when communicating with other users and when deciding whether to meet anyone in person. You interact with other users at your own risk. Winksi is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that we reasonably believe threaten the safety of others, or where required by law.
You may delete your account at any time in the app. We then delete your account and profile and attempt to remove related data from our active systems. Limited safety, moderation, security, and legally required records are kept for the periods described in our Privacy Policy and Account & Data Deletion page.
Winksi is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, HEKOM DOOEL is not liable for user behavior, user content, service outages, or the actions of third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HEKOM DOOEL, its affiliates, and employees from claims arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia. Before starting legal action, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting winksi.app@gmail.com for 30 days. Unresolved disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Skopje, North Macedonia.
This section applies except to the extent that mandatory law in your place of residence gives you rights that cannot lawfully be waived or limited, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes to these Terms. Continued use after notice of updated Terms means you accept them.
