Winksi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to it.

Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

Winksi prohibits any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms children. This includes CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any attempt to solicit or facilitate such activity.

Accounts found to engage in such conduct are suspended or permanently terminated.

Age Requirements

Reporting Mechanisms

Moderation and Enforcement

We review reported content and act against violating accounts, including content removal and permanent termination. When a report involves potential child sexual abuse or exploitation, we preserve relevant evidence beyond ordinary retention periods as required by law, and escalate it for reporting to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting to Authorities

Winksi complies with applicable child safety laws. Where U.S. law applies, Winksi reports apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. §2258A, and cooperates with law enforcement as required by law. In other jurisdictions, we report to the appropriate national authorities and law enforcement as required by applicable law.

Point of Contact

Our designated child safety point of contact can answer questions about our CSAE and CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
